At the moment, you can place orders in the IKRA shop from the following countries:

German-speaking area:
Germany, Austria, Switzerland

Europe & EU, alphabetically:
Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Great Britain, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain

 

Of course you also have the opportunity to change your delivery address. For example, your invoice address could be in Germany but you could have the articles delivered to Austria.

 

Prices

All prices in the online shop include statutory value-added tax but do not include shipping costs. With orders of 50.00 EUR or more, to be delivered in Germany, shipping is free.

 

Payment methods

At the moment, you can choose from the following payment methods for your order:

PayPal

Payment by PayPal - simple, fast and secure.
PayPal is your reliable partner for secure and direct online payments. With PayPal, payment is as simple as emailing, with the money being credited to the recipient immediately. As the purchaser this is always free of charge for you. Find out more about PayPal (www.paypal.de)

Pre-payment

With "Pre-payment" you simply pay the total amount of your order into our account in advance. The goods you ordered will be conveniently delivered directly to your home after payment has been received. We will provide you with our bank details during the order process. When transferring the payment, please enter the 5-digit order number on the order confirmation as the banking payment reference. You will receive the order confirmation by email after the order is submitted. You can also find our bank details on your order confirmation.

"SOFORT Überweisung" instant bank transfer

Pay immediately, simply and directly. With the payment method "instant bank transfer", you pay for your purchase directly after completing the order by entering your usual online banking data - simply and securely.

Credit card (VISA & Mastercard)

We accept the following credit cards in our online shop: VISA and Mastercard - For payment processing, enter your credit card number, the three-digit security code (CIV) and the "valid to" data on your credit card in the order checkout.

Cash on delivery

With "cash on delivery" payment, you pay the invoice amount in cash to the parcel service agent upon delivery. There is a 9.50 euro COD charge.

Shipping costs

You can find an overview of our shipping costs in our overview of shipping costs. We use the DPD parcel service for delivering your order. You can keep an eye on your package at all times with the App or via paketnavigator.de, and can control when and where your package will be delivered. Refer to "Shipping costs" for details.

Please note: With orders of 50.00 EUR or more, to be delivered in Germany, shipping is free. In the shopping basket you are continuously informed of the amount by which your order must increase in order to qualify for free shipping. It is often worthwhile to order an additional accessory part, e.g. spools or chains, in order to qualify for free shipping.

Shopping basket

There is an "Add to shopping cart" button on the article pages. Pressing this button places the current article into the shopping basket. You can view the shopping basket at any time.

You can always see which articles you have already selected to order in the shopping basket. To do so, simply click the shopping basket symbol at the top right. A small view opens. If this is not enough, you can open the shopping basket fully by clicking on the "Open shopping basket" button. If the quick view is enough, you can also switch directly to the payment process in the checkout from here. All important information for the selected articles can be found in the detailed view. For example: Price, delivery time slot, etc.

You have the following options in the shopping basket:

Change/adapt number/quantity of articles
To do so, simply click on the selection menu (drop-down menu) after the article and adapt the quantity

Deleting articles (e.g. if you have accidentally added the wrong article to the shopping basket)
To do so, simply click on the waste basket symbol after the total amount. Clicking on this will simply remove the article.

Calling up articles anew
You can call up articles in the shopping basket anew at any time by clicking on the article name in the shopping basket, for example in order to have a quick look at the technical data again or to have a closer look at a detailed image.

Do you have a voucher code? You can add it and activate it here. (For example 10% new customer discount)

Guarantee extension
You have the option to extend the guarantee to 4 years with all of our gardening tools. You can simply add the guarantee extension in the shopping basket.

Quick order
You can also add article numbers directly in the shopping basket without having to visit the article page. The article appears in the shopping basket overview immediately after confirmation ("Add" button).

You can see a summary of your order in the checkout area. You can only get to the checkout area from the shopping basket if you have created a customer account. Either register initially as a "New customer" or log in if you already have access details in order to get to the checkout area.

You can check your order once again at the checkout area before placing a binding order.

Billing address
The invoice address you entered is displayed. If you wish to change or adapt this, click on the "Change" button. The "Other" function is not currently available.

Shipping address

Delivery address
If you have entered a different delivery address, this will be displayed here. If not, the invoice address will be adopted as the delivery address and displayed accordingly. If you wish to change or adapt this delivery address, click on the "Change" button. The "Other" function is not currently available.

Shipping method

Shipping type
The type of shipping is dependent on the delivery address. This cannot be edited.

Payment method

Payment method
You can see the payment method you selected, here. If you wish to change this, click on "Change" and select from the payment methods available.

GT&Cs and Cancellation instructions
By setting a tick here, you are confirming that you have read and accepted our GT&Cs and Cancellation instructions. The order can only be placed if the tick is set.

Checkout Overview

Order overview
You will see the order overview in the next section. You can see all of the articles that you wish to order here. The following information is displayed:

  • Article description
  • Article number
  • Delivery time
  • Summary of article description
  • Quantity
  • VAT
  • Total (article)
  • Shipping costs
  • Sum total

If you wish to remove an article from the order, click the waste basket symbol after the article at the end of the table.

Delete order

If you get to the checkout and realise that you still require an additional article, leave the checkout again and switch to the corresponding product category or use the product search facility. Call up the article, place this in the shopping basket and then switch back to the shopping basket. From there you can simply return to the checkout area to check your order.

Once you have checked your order once again, you can place a binding order. You will receive confirmation of your order by email. All data will be summarised and shown again in this confirmation.

Ordering based on article numbers

Have you already made a note of an article number for our articles? (For example, from our operating instructions, from our catalogue or from another website where we were mentioned). You can quickly find the article with the help of this number and the product search facility. To do so, simply enter the article number in the search field and click on the magnifying glass symbol. The article will be called up. You can now see more details (e.g. technical details, product photos, etc.) and then add the article to the shopping basket.

Searching article numbers

Would you like to order a larger quantity of articles and you have the article numbers already? (For example, from brochures, from previous orders, etc.) - e.g. accessory articles or spare parts. You can also add article numbers directly in the shopping basket without having to visit the article page. The article appears in the shopping basket overview immediately after confirmation ("Add" button). You can now change the quantity of the article and add additional articles if required.

Customer account

You require a customer account in order to be able to place orders in the IKRA online shop. You can create this before ordering or you will be requested to do so when you click on "Go to checkout" in order to proceed with the order. Guest access is also possible. (without customer account)

Forgotten password

If you already have a customer account, you can simply log in and all your details are already stored. Forgotten your password for your customer account, then click on the "Forgotten your password?" link.

In order to be able to create a customer account, the following mandatory information is required:

  • Type of customer (private customer / company)
  • Title
  • Forename
  • Surname
  • email address
  • Password
  • House number/name & street
  • Post code & town/city
  • Country

After registering you will receive an email confirming that your user account has been created. As a new customer, you will receive a voucher code with this registration. You can enter this in the shopping basket and receive a 10% new customer discount.

You will need to enter your email address as your username and the password to log in to your customer account in the future. Please keep these safe for future log-ins.

You can find your user information in the customer account. You can change your password and email address here. You can find the last payment method used in our shop, under "Selected payment method". You can select a different payment method for future payments by pressing the "Change payment method" button.

You can see whether you have subscribed for the newsletter under "Your newsletter settings". You are subscribed if a tick is set in the checkbox. If no tick is set, you have not registered to receive the newsletter. You can change the newsletter settings at any time.

You can change your billing address or delivery address under the respective "Billing address" and "Delivery address" sections.

You can find all of your IKRA online shop orders sorted by date in the "My orders" sub-section.

The following points are shown as a table in the order overview:

  • Date (order date)
  • Order number
  • Shipping type
  • Order status
  • Actions

You can see your order status by logging in to your customer account and switching to "My orders" in the overview page. You can see the current status of your order in Order status. For example, "Shipped". So, you know that your order is already on its way to you. Or, you see the status "Delayed".This, for example, means that there has been a delay in shipping. Or, you see the status "Return received". So, you know that we have received your returned item. If you see "Order has not yet been processed", you know that the order is still being processed.

 

Actions

Actions in customer account

The order can be displayed by clicking on "Display". The following detailed information is displayed:

  • Article description
  • Current individual price in the shop
  • Unit price (when purchased)
  • Quantity/number
  • Total
  • Order date and time
  • Order number
  • Shipping type
  • Shipping costs
  • Sum total

If you want to repeat this exact order, click on "Repeat order". By clicking on this button, the articles from the old order will be added to the current shopping basket. You can now change the quantities and of course add additional articles to the order, here.

You have the following additional options in the article page:

  • Questions on the article / query article
  • Comparing articles
  • Add to Wish list

Our Contact form opens by clicking on the "Questions on the article" link. Feel free to send us questions here. We will be happy to answer these. Of course, you can also call our customer hotline during our service team office hours in order to clarify your questions:

If an article is temporarily unavailable, an additional "Query article" link is displayed. Clicking on this also opens the contact form. For example, if you would like more detailed information on the availability of the article, then please get in touch with us.

Comparing articles

Want to compare articles? As soon as you click on the "Compare articles" link in the article details, the "Compare articles" list view appears at the top right. At least two articles must be selected in order to be able to compare.

Now click on the "Compare articles" link at the top right in order to start the comparison. You can immediately see how many articles you have selected to compare in the shop, in the red circle.

In our example, you can see that there are 2 Electric hedge trimmers in the product comparison. Of course you can also compare more than two articles. Now click on "Start comparison".

Once you have started the comparison, you can see an overview of all data & facts (technical data) for the articles being compared. You can also switch directly to the product from the overview. For example, if you have decided on a device from the comparison, select the "See details" button and add the desired article to the shopping basket. If you would prefer to add an additional product to the comparison, close the current comparison overview and call up a further article. By clicking on "Compare article", this new article is likewise added to the comparison. Of course, a comparison is only useful if you are dealing with similar articles. For example, compare electrical hedge trimmers or compare electrical chainsaws with cordless chainsaws. If you would like to compare a new product group, delete the current comparison by pressing the "Delete comparison" button.

In our example comparison, we now have the two Ultralight electrical hedge trimmers being compared with one another. In the comparison overview you can very easily see the important differences allowing you to tailor your choice to suit your requirements. In the example comparison, you can see for example that the FHS 1545 Ultralight hedge trimmer has a cutting length of 45 cm. The FHS 1555 has a cutting length of 55 cm. Now, say that you require a hedge trimmer with a cutting length of 55 cm for your current requirements, then in the example comparison you would select the FHS 1555 hedge trimmer. Now, click on "See details" and add your selection to the shopping basket.

Product comparisons offer ideal assistance for making decisions, particularly in the case of articles with many technical details and characteristics.

Wish list

If you want to save an article for later purchase, you can save it in your customer account by clicking on the "Add to Wish list" link. The Wish list opens by clicking on the "Add to Wish list" link on the article's detail page. The selected article is now in the Wish list.

You can then also easily call up your Wish list via your customer account. To do so, log in and select "My account". Amongst other things, you can find your individual Wish list in the overview.

My account

You have the following options for the "selected" articles:

  • Call up detail page for the article
  • Add article to comparison
  • Buy article
  • Remove article from Wish list

You can go directly to the detail page for the article by clicking on the "See details" button or by clicking on the article name, in order to find more information on the selected product.

Add article to comparison:

If you wish to compare the product in the Wish list with other gardening tools from the shop, click on the "Compare" button. The product in the Wish list will be added to the comparison list. Now click on the "Compare articles" link at the top right in order to start the comparison. You can immediately see how many articles you have selected to compare in the shop, in the red circle.

Buy article:

Click the "Buy" button to purchase the items selected in the Wish list. You will then be taken to the checkout. If you wish to add a guarantee extension for the device, switch from the checkout to the shopping basket. You can only add a guarantee extension in the shopping basket. If the "Buy" button cannot be clicked, this means that the article is not currently available for purchase. In our example above, you can see that the button is coloured bright red as the selected article will only be available from the 1st. October 2017. As soon as the article in the Wish list is available, the "Buy" button becomes red again and you can buy the article.

Removing articles from the Wish list:

If you wish to remove an article from the Wish list, click the "waste basket" button beside the price.

 

The order process

There are two different ways to find articles in our online shop. Either use the free search facility by means of the "Search" field at the top of the website or select the corresponding category in the top or left navigation areas. For example, if you are looking for a light hedge trimmer, enter "light hedge trimmer" in the product search. For a complete search, click on the magnifying glass symbol, or select a hedge trimmer from the suggestions. Then the article page is called up directly.

Ordering a lightweight hedgetrimmer

If you prefer to search via categories, there is a top and left-hand navigation area in the desktop version. In our current example, the following categories from the top navigation area are applicable: "Ultralight hedge trimmers" and "Hedge and tree care".

These categories can also be found in the left navigation area (desktop version).

In the desktop version, there are also additional categories in the left navigation area that may be helpful for your search:

  • Cordless gardening tools
  • Electrical gardening tools
  • Petrol gardening tools
  • Area of use

You now have an overview of all suitable articles in the corresponding category. You can see a product image, the title and the price for each article. The "Overview table" is pre-configured. If you would prefer to see the articles listed one beneath the other, you can select "List view". This has the advantage that you can also see and read a part of the product text. In the overview table, you have only a two-line excerpt.

In addition, you can also choose how the products should be listed. Sort the products to suit your needs:

  • Date of publication
  • Popularity
  • Lowest price
  • Highest price
  • Article designation (alphabetical)

Now select the appropriate product from the overview. In the example, we will select the "light hedge trimmer" - the Ultralight FHS 1545. The product detail page opens by clicking on the product image or the article name.

Find out about the following points in the product detail page

  • Description
  • Dates & facts (technical details)
  • Reviews from other customers for this product
  • Product images & detail images
  • Compare the article with others

If you are happy with your product selection, add the article to the shopping basket.

Shopping basket

If you add the article to the shopping basket, the shopping basket dialogue opens. Here you will be informed that the desired article is now in your shopping basket. You can view the shopping basket or continue shopping. In addition, further product suggestions will appear - "You may also like these products".

To order only the Ultralight hedge trimmer, select the "Show shopping basket" button. The shopping basket opens now.

Now you have the following additional options in the shopping basket:

All further options such as "continue shopping" or "enter article number" (quick order) have already been explained in more detail earlier.
In our example, we are assuming that you are a new customer. So, select from the following for the calculation of the shipping costs

  1. The destination country
  2. The method of payment
  3. The type of shipping

After you have made these selections, click on the "To the checkout" button to conclude the order.
You will now be requested to create a user account.
In order to be able to create a customer account, the following mandatory information is required:

  • Type of customer (private customer / company)
  • Title
  • Forename
  • Surname
  • email address
  • Password
  • House number/name & street
  • Post code & town/city
  • Country

You can conclude your order with the creation of the user account. You are now in the order summary area. Please check all of the information here and do not forget to set the corresponding tick in the "GT&Cs and Cancellation instructions" area as otherwise the order cannot be concluded.

You can still change all of the information at this point. You can change the billing address and the delivery address. You can change the method of payment and you can increase or decrease the number of articles.

Ordering spare parts

In order to find a suitable spare part, simply navigate to our "Spare parts" section.

To search for spare parts, enter the name of the device that the spare parts are intended for. For example, if you are looking for spare parts for the IKRA IGBS 1054 LI grass shears, enter this designation in the search field.

Now the desired grass shears are listed in the list below. Now click on the article name in order to open the exploded view drawing.

The exploded view drawing for the respective device opens. Now you can identify all possible spare parts applicable to this device. You can also identify the corresponding article numbers.

If you need a new charger for the IGBS 1054 LI already mentioned, for example, click on the article number 50800148 beside the image of the charge cable.

As soon as you have clicked on the article number the associated article page conveniently opens. You do not need to note down the number in order to go back to the product search. With just one click, you land directly on the article page and can order the desired IKRA spare part quickly and simply.

Ordering accessories

The big advantage with IKRA is that we are able to offer an excellent spare parts service. Spare parts for all IKRA gardening tools can be ordered easily from us here in the online shop. Suitable accessory items such as cutting line spools, rechargeable batteries, blades or replacement chains for example, for IKRA gardening tools are always available online. Of course, IKRA also maintains a stock of spare parts and accessory parts for older gardening tools. Customer service and functionality are a priority with us.
